How to use it

Going first is a genuine advantage in a lot of board games, which is exactly why the decision causes so much friction. A visible random draw that everyone watches happen is accepted far more readily than someone simply declaring they will start.

For a full turn order rather than just the first player, tick "Remove each winner after spinning" and keep spinning. Each name drops off the wheel as it comes up, so you end with a complete running order and no repeats.

This is just as useful outside of games — deciding presentation order, who does the washing up, or which of you calls the landlord. Any time the fair answer is "someone has to, and nobody wants to volunteer".

Common questions

How do I get a full turn order, not just first place?
Turn on "Remove each winner after spinning", then spin repeatedly. Each name is removed once drawn, so you build a complete order.
Can I stop one person being picked twice?
That is exactly what the remove-winners option does — once a name comes up it is off the wheel until you reset.
How many names can I add?
As many as you need. Past roughly forty the labels get too narrow to read, so the random name picker is the better tool for big groups.
